Who am I,
and what do I do?

Hi, I'm Taya - a Brand Designer Creative Director based in Australia, helping modern businesses build brands that feel intentional, elevated, and unmistakably theirs.

I specialise in guiding brands from concept to execution: crafting their strategic foundations, building their visuals, and supporting them long-term as they grow.

When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my partner, and our husky, Yuki.

Less Stress, More Clarity

I help brands build strong visual, web, and marketing foundations so every decision feels clear, confident, and strategic.

Struggling with:

How I can help:

  • Endless DIY design

  • Confusion when handing work to design group

  • Time wasted giving feedback or re-explaining your brand

  • Brand decisions take hours, and you're still not happy

  • Strong brand and web foundations you can refer to anytime

  • Ongoing design support when you need it

  • A one stop studio and trusted creative partner who “gets” your brand

  • Marketing direction that saves you time and stress

The Process

Here's a quick run down of the design process, from inquiry, to receiving your dream brand!

You'll also receive an in-depth breakdown for your specific project timeline, in your project proposal document.

ON-BOARDING

Step 01

After your inquiry, you’ll receive an email with a Welcome Pack. Which will layout the next steps, as well as a notion portal, and zoom invite. Next, we’ll discuss you and your brand, through the zoom call and a questionnaire, so I can put together a custom project proposal for you to read over. Once you’ve read over the project proposal and are ready to work together, we’ll set a start date. Next, we’ll sign a contract and you’ll pay a 50% up-front invoice, through Contra.

SET-UP

Step 02

In order to start designing, I’ll send through a custom questionnaire, or book another call to get a better understanding of your brand. As well as research your niche, competitors, and more. Next, I’ll put together a Creative Direction ppt, with 2 different directions for the project. You then select the direction you’d prefer, as well as give any feedback.

DESIGN PHASE

Step 03

Now we can finally get into the design! I’ll spend 1-2 weeks designing, and preparing a final design ppt. Which can include, logos, websites, competitor analysis and much more. You’ll then have a few days to look over the ppt and give any feedback you may have about the project (this can repeat until you’re happy).

OFF-BOARDING

Step 04

Now that you’re completely happy with the project, it’s time to pay the final 50% invoice, and get your deliverables! I’ll also ask you to leave me a review, and I’ll check back in a few weeks to see how the new designs are going. On-going support/retainer options are also available, if you're looking for design + marketing support long-term.

Retainer Process

The process for retainers/on-going support looks a little different. But I believe having a long-term designer, is an incredible investment, so I had to give retainers their own section.

Retainer

Perfect For: Brands looking for an in-house designer

My design retainer starts with a Zoom call to understand your brand and current needs, whether that’s social designs, email marketing, or website updates. From there, I’ll send a proposal and contract outlining the number of hours of design support you’ll receive each week. You’ll also get access to a Notion portal where you can easily add tasks, set monthly focuses, and review or approve work. We’ll check in with a fortnightly or monthly Zoom call to make sure everything’s on track and aligned with your goals. The biggest benefit of a retainer is working long-term with one designer: you’ll spend less time re-explaining your brand, revisions become minimal, and trust and consistency grow with every project.
